SOL CARD FAQs

How does my SOL Card work?
Your SOL Card works as a debit card, so you can load credit onto it to purchase drinks. Alternatively you can present your card when making a purchase and you will accrue reward points, or be entitles to any of the applicable offers ie Happy hours!

How do I load money onto my card?
It’s as simple as presenting your card at any participating bar and the credit can be loaded on instantly. You can pay with cash, eftpos or credit cards.

Do I have to have money on my card to be able to use it?

No. You can pay by cash, eftpos, or credit card and still accrue the points on your card. Every time you buy something you should use your card so you still achieve the great benefits from the card.

How do the loyalty points work?

You get loyalty points on every purchase you make. The system credits your card with 5% of the sale which gets included with your current balance. As an example if you have $100 worth of points on your card and you spend $80 your new balance will be $24. The $20 remaining and the $4 of points you have earned.

How do I use the points that I have earnt?

As your earned points are added straight to your balance you can spend the points as you go.

What happens if I lose my card?
We are more than happy to replace your Club card if you lose it. Unfortunately if you have any credit on your card it is lost with the card. So look after them!

Do the cards have a pin do I have to personally use them?

The cards simply work by inserting them into the chip reader. This means that they don’t have a pin. A massive advantage of this is that you can simply pay for a round of drinks with out even leaving your table. Simply hand the card to the staff member and they take your card and return it with the order. No change, no tabs, no hassle!

How do I get priority in the queues and what happens if I have friends who don’t have Club Cards?
There are two separate queues. You must have your SOL Card to gain entrance into the priority queue.

How do I find out what special offers are running?

The weekly SOL E-Newsletter will contain all the details of current SOL Card offers, or you can log onto the SOL website.
